Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 1 April 2026 · Last Updated: 20 April 2026
1. Overview
LuminaSEO Pro ("the Plugin") is a WordPress plugin developed and distributed by LuminaHub Platform ("we", "our", "us"), operating under luminaseo.in. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you install and use the Plugin on your WordPress site.
2. Data Collected by the Plugin
The Plugin collects and stores the following data locally within your WordPress database: your Google Gemini API Key (stored encrypted in wp_options), your Google Service Account credentials for the Indexing API (stored encrypted), your LuminaSEO Pro license key, post generation logs and indexing status records, and site domain metadata used for license binding. None of this data is transmitted to our servers except the domain hash used for license verification handshakes.
3. Data Sent to Third-Party Services
To provide core functionality, the Plugin communicates with: (a) Google Gemini API — your content generation prompts are sent to generate AI text; (b) Pollinations API — image generation prompts are sent to produce featured images; (c) Google Indexing API — published post URLs are submitted for indexing; (d) LuminaHub Platform (luminaseo.in) — periodic license verification pings containing only your site domain hash and plugin version. No personally identifiable information (PII) of your site visitors is ever collected or transmitted.
4. Data Stored on LuminaHub Platform
When you activate a license through the LuminaHub dashboard, we store your email address, your license key, and your site domain (hashed) for license management purposes. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and Tracking
The Plugin does not set any cookies on your WordPress frontend. The LuminaHub Platform website (luminaseo.in) uses session cookies for authentication purposes only, which expire when your browser session ends.
6. Data Retention
License records are retained for the duration of your license subscription plus 90 days following expiry. Post generation logs stored in your WordPress database are retained until you manually clear them from the Plugin dashboard or uninstall the Plugin. Upon plugin deactivation, the Plugin removes all scheduled cron tasks. Upon uninstallation, all wp_options data created by the Plugin is removed.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request deletion of your account data from the LuminaHub platform at any time by contacting us at the support channels available in your dashboard. You may also delete all Plugin-stored data by uninstalling the Plugin from your WordPress installation.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including HMAC-signed license tokens, site-specific database key obfuscation, and encrypted credential storage. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Plugin after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or related to this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
For privacy-related enquiries, use the support channels available within your LuminaHub dashboard.
